Hello Riff Raff! I am smelling the bread cool as we speak after taking it out of the oven this morning and if you’re in town today, swing by because it smells amazing. :) There will be Howie, Hank, Zepeda and Troublemakers in Fred today!
Here are a few FAQ’s that I thought I would answer here just in case you were wondering…
What time does the bread go in the shed?
I try to get it in the shed as close to noon as possible! I am however, only one person so some days it isn’t perfect timing, check my Instagram stories to see if I have in fact loaded the shed!
What if I preorder and don’t have Venmo?
No worries! You can pay cash when you pick up your order! I appreciate you letting me know in your order notes that you will be to just help me keep things organized. :)
When will be my preorder be ready to be picked up?
When I send you a text message! Preorders take me a tiny bit of extra time, so please wait until I text you to come pick up so you don’t waste a trip!
Can I order specialty loaves on Wednesdays?
No, I am trying my best to simplify so I can continue doing this and keep up! On Wednesdays I will bake only “The Howie” the plain rustic sourdough. Sundays will be filled with all of the fun cheesy goodness. The Zepeda (Jalapeño cheddar) will not be available every Sunday, only every other so keep an eye on the newsletter or my Instagram if that loaf is your favorite!
If I preordered, can I just take any loaf that fits my order?
Please don’t. :) As mentioned above, I will text you when it is ready and will have your name on it! They will be on the bottom shelf (a new shed, easier to get to is in the works).
How does the “honesty box” work?
Come on up to Strawberry Drive, find Fred, a shining beacon of deliciousness, open up and choose your order, check the price list and either Venmo (the code is right inside the door) or leave cash in the little tin box inside the tiny door at the top of the shed. Easy peasy!
What if I don’t have exact change?
If you don’t have Venmo and do not have exact change, unfortunately I am not Wells Fargo….so…. any “tips” are super appreciated. :)
Is there anything left in the shed right now?
I can’t provide real time updates but I do my best to share a story when we are getting low on my Instagram so follow there for updates!
What happens if I am running late or forget to pick up my order?
You order will be on the bottom shelf until around 8pm. If you can’t make it by then send me a text and I will pop it back into the shed the next morning until noon. After noon if you have not picked up it will be donated to Helena Food Share.
Why do the bread and cookies sell out so fast?
Because of all of you and your amazing support, I love you!
